Job summary

The Emerald Group Ltd, Search and Selection is seeking a pricing actuary with strong MA knowledge to support sustainable growth across pricing decisions in the UK. You will act as an expert, design robust pricing models, implement AI-driven automation to streamline analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate, justified pricing assumptions and outputs.

Experience in annuity pricing and investment management is preferred, along with solid communication skills to influence

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Matching Adjustment (MA) portfolios.
Actuarial qualification with experience in annuity pricing and investment management.
Inquisitive with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to use AI and automation to improve pricing tasks.
Basic coding understanding with experience in Python, R, VBA or .Net.
Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and identify pricing tool opportunities.
Act as SME to pricing and platform teams, supporting pricing decisions and analysis.
Set pricing assumptions consistently with reporting and justify them with expert insight.
Design and implement pricing models and trigger-based assumption reviews.
Support the pricing framework's implementation and ongoing improvement.
