Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking a qualified actuary to support the S&R line of business through tender activity and ongoing technical/pricing support. You will help deliver new business quotations, analyze experience data to derive pricing bases, and communicate findings to stakeholders across the business.

Ideal candidates will have post-qualified actuary experience and strong analytical skills, with relevant technical pricing experience in (re)insurance or consultancy and a solid

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical experience in (re)insurance, consultancy or other pricing roles.
• Solid understanding of the insurance market and pricing trends.
• Experience deriving pricing bases from experience data.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of new business quotations for the S&R line of business.
• Analyzing experience data to determine trends and derive the technical pricing basis.
• Communicating results and findings to stakeholders across the business.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of A&R pricing and industry trends.
• Be a qualified actuary with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Have strong and relevant technical experience in (re)insurance, consultancy or another pricing role.
• Have a good understanding of the insurance market.
• Be highly analytical, ideally with strong experience in data analysis; may come from General insurance.
