Commercial Account Handler | Leeds | Up to £40,000 | Hybrid Working Available

This expanding insurance broker is seeking a skilled Commercial Account Handler to join their dynamic team. With a strong pipeline of business and clear opportunities for career progression, this is a fantastic chance to grow within a client-focused, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across various industries
2. Handle the full policy lifecycle - including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries
3. Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure the best cover for clients
4. Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products including property, liability, motor, and combined packages
5. Ensure FCA compliance and maintain accurate client records using Acturis
6. Support client meetings, produce market submissions, and follow up on agreed actions

Requirements

1. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar broking role
2. Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products
3. Cert CII qualified or actively working towards (preferred)
4. Proficient in Acturis and Microsoft Office Suite
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
6. Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
