Cameron James Professional Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing insurance broker to recruit a Commercial Account Handler for their Bolton team. The role focuses on supporting Account Executives, managing a varied portfolio of commercial clients, and delivering excellent service.

You will handle mid-term adjustments, renewals, and queries, prepare quotations and schedules, liaise with insurers, and seek opportunities to cross-sell while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial insurance account handling role.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communicator.
• Customer-focused with a solutions-driven mindset.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and prioritising competing priorities.
• Cert CII (or working towards) desirable but not essential.
• Experience using Acturis would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day point of contact, handling mid-term adjustments, renewals, and queries
• Prepare and issue documentation including quotations, endorsements, and policy schedules
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive cover
• Support Account Executives with new business and renewal presentations
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory and company standards
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell where appropriate
