Job description

Thanks for stopping by and learning more about this role at Sitemate!

We’d love to hear from you

Overview

The Commercial Account Executive will join Sitemate's Mid Market team, owning inbound-qualified opportunities through the full sales cycle - from discovery and demo through to proposal and close. You'll run structured discovery calls to uncover pain points and buying context, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and navigate multi-stakeholder decisions to build champions and drive deals forward. Pipeline hygiene, accurate forecasting in Salesforce, and hitting quarterly new ARR targets are core expectations of the role.

For the first 9 months post-close, you'll retain ownership of each new customer - identifying expansion opportunities and working with CSMs and AMs to ensure smooth handoffs and growth execution. You'll also partner cross-functionally with Marketing on lead quality feedback, and with Product and Engineering to close technical gaps and communicate customer needs.

Employment:

  • Full-time

  • Based: London, United Kingdom

  • OTE Remuneration (Including Pension): £109,000

    • Base: £64,000 (including Pension)

    • Commission: £45,000 (including Pension)

About Sitemate:

Sitemate builds best-in-class software and AI agents for the built world, helping construction, infrastructure and industrial companies work smarter and faster. Our mission is to multiply the engineering power of the built world.

Storm is the #1 data capture agent for the front line of the built world - converting audio, photos and videos into clean structured records.

With conversational support in-app and across SMS, Whatsapp and phone calls, Storm is shifting front line workers from paperwork and clunky digital forms, to natural language and multi-channel data capture.

Our core platforms are Dashpivot (safety, quality and field reporting), Gearbelt (fleet and asset management), Flowsite (no-code integrations), and the Sitemate mobile app for every worker on site.

We have strong product-market fit, generating thousands of new leads per month through word of mouth and organic channels. We are backed by Blackbird, with 200 people across 18+ countries and entities in Australia, the UK, the US and Canada.

Challenges

  • Running multiple concurrent sales cycles while maintaining high standards in Salesforce hygiene, follow-up cadence, and deal progression.
  • Navigating complex stakeholders within construction and engineering clients, where decision cycles can be long, informal, or influenced by non-technical factors.
  • Balancing new business acquisition with the expectation to identify early cross-sell and expansion opportunities within the first 9 months of account ownership.

Who This Role is Not For
  • Someone who prefers a steady, account-management-style role focused on long-term relationship building rather than fast-moving new business sales.
  • Someone who sees "commercial" as purely transactional and isn't motivated by understanding customer value drivers to position meaningful, outcomes-led upsell opportunities.
  • Anyone who relies heavily on high-intent leads and isn't comfortable driving proactive outreach, structured follow-up, or creating momentum with lower-intent prospects.
