Job summary

Valtech is hiring a Commercetool Backend Lead Developer in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building backend services, APIs, and integrations using commercetools, with a microservices approach. You’ll mentor juniors and drive best practices in security, testing, and performance.

You should have 8+ years in backend and experience with Node.js, Java, TypeScript, and composable commerce. Experience in Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
• Experience with Node.js, Java, TypeScript and composable commerce architecture; focus on scalable, headless eCommerce backend design.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations using the commercetools platform and microservices architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps and solution architects to deliver high-quality composable commerce solutions.
