Job summary

VML Enterprise Solutions in London is seeking a Programme Manager to lead high‑quality, multi‑team delivery on complex programmes within budget and schedule. You’ll work with the Account Director to drive productivity and realise benefits outlined in the business case.

You will manage risks, governance, and vendor relationships, coordinating across workstreams and guiding project managers to deliver outcomes for major ecommerce and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing multiple teams across different workstreams (≥20 people).
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management.
• Proven track record delivering ecommerce migration or re-platform projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with multi‑vendor management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all delivery across the programme.
• Analyse and mitigate programme risks; produce reports for management.
• Maintain standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance with governance.
• Create and implement governance at programme start; ensure adherence throughout lifecycle.
• Track dependencies and develop programme level plans across workstreams.
• Provide guidance to project managers within and outside your account.
• Maintain a resource plan and track end dates with functional leads.
• Manage resource requests and fulfillment; liaise internally or with vendors.
• Build relationships with team members and client stakeholders at all levels.
• Define and implement programme governance with the client; manage third‑party vendors.
