Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time cleaner for Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton (ML3 7UE). The role is 8 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays 8am–12pm, at £13.80 per hour.

The position is based on-site at Chatelherault, delivering cleaning of floors, furniture and sanitary areas to required standards. The post holder will monitor cleaning standards in line with the specification and COSHH regulations, reporting any issues to management and acting as the on-site reporting

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends.

Hours: 8 hours per week

Work Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 8am - 12pm

Hourly Rate: £13.80 per hour

The successful candidate will carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls etc. You will also be required to monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulation, reporting any difficult issues to management.

The post holder will be the responsible person on site for reporting Health and Safety issues.

Preferred candidates identified after theselection eventprocess will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, toensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.

Overseas Criminal Records Check

An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of 12 months in the past 10 years.
