South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time cleaning operative for Larkhall Academy. The role runs 30 hours per week, term-time, with a pattern of Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm. The post is temporary until 22 December 2026, with a salary in the £14.12–£14.27 per hour range.

The successful candidate will carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls etc. You will also be required to monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulation, reporting any difficult issues to management.
You will be responsible for setting up rooms for lets and being the responsible person on site for reporting health and safety issues.

If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.
