Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. are looking for a Combustion Engineer to join our HVAC services team in London (inside M25). The role covers mobile work across London and the Home Counties on commercial plant room equipment.

You will carry out service, maintenance and breakdown on commercial plant room equipment, with a 45-hour week, paid lunch, and overtime opportunities. A valid ACS including COCN1, CODNC01, CIGA1 and CORT1 is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in commercial/combustion gas engineering.
• Valid Commercial Gas Tickets and ACS qualifications.
• Experience with steam, oil, LPG beneficial.

Job description

Position: Combustion Engineer

Location: London (inside M25) - Mobile

Salary: £52,000 - 62,500

Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client; they are a well-known M&E Services Contractor who have been in business for over 50 years. They have clients based throughout London and the Home Counties and are currently looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team. They are seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their HVAC Services Team which is the longest standing business, which operates and maintains a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across London and the Home Counties. The role involves maintaining a wide range of commercial plant room appliances, with responsibilities split between planned maintenance and reactive repair work. Although the company provides a call-out service, the number of call-outs is currently relatively low. The Commercial Gas Engineer must hold their ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications, including COCN1 or CODNC01, CIGA1, and CORT1. The Commercial Gas Engineer will ideally have 5+ years' experience working on commercial heating systems.

Job Overview

• Carry out service, maintenance, and breakdown on Commercial plant room equipment
• The engineer will ideally be situated North London/North of the river to work across a varied commercial client base

Job Requirements

• Minimum five years' experience in the field as Commercial/Combustion Gas Engineer.
• Valid Commercial Gas Tickets
• Previous experience on steam, oil, and LPG is beneficial
• A time-served apprenticeship is beneficial
• Uk Driving licence
• Ideally based inside the M25

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £52,000 - 62,500
