Job summary

Royal Devon is seeking a part-time Colorectal Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our established CNS team in Exeter. The post offers an opportunity to deliver expert care, holistic assessments and symptom management within the colorectal cancer pathway, supporting patients and families throughout diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure timely care, advocate for patient needs and contribute to service

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NHS-based experience in cancer care.
• Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered colorectal cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care, support and coordination for colorectal cancer patients.
• Undertake holistic assessments and manage symptoms and concerns.
• Deliver specialist advice and education to patients and families; advocate for patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
