Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Collections Specialist for a client in Raleigh. The role reports to the Collections Supervisor and oversees the collections process for delinquent balances, including internal settlements and term extensions.

The position offers a hybrid schedule after training. Responsibilities include contacting policyholders and agents, managing case data, processing settlements, and coordinating with other departments to resolve delinquencies, while delivering strong customer

Competenze

• Minimum high school degree, with 1–3 years of collections experience or equivalent
• Associates degree in a business field preferred
• Strong Excel skills and customer service focus
• Strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Property & Casualty Insurance experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates encouraged
• Ability to work in a team setting and manage peer relationships

Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Collections Specialist for our client located in Raleigh. The Collections Specialist will report to the Collections Supervisor and is responsible for the collections process for all delinquent balances. In addition to the referral process to external collection agencies, the Collections Specialist is responsible for facilitating contracts related to internally managed settlements and extended payment terms. Once fully trained, there is an opportunity for a HYBRID schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Performing outbound calls and or emails to policyholders and agents regarding delinquent accounts, including sending notifications of past due balances
• Manage polices in the Case Management tool
• Follow up with policyholders and agents as necessary
• Monitor late and final notices on delinquent accounts
• Execute customer interactions with excellent customer service
• Prepare and manage contracts for special payment terms
• Facilitate settlement process for delinquent accounts including contracts
• Process cancellations and reinstatements on delinquent accounts
• Process tasks for starting and stopping dunning
• Review process exceptions
• Partner with other departments on projects
• Escalate cases based on more severe aging of delinquency

Requirements:

• Minimum high school degree, with at least 1-3 years of previous collections experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associates degree in a business field preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Must have a strong customer service focus
• Strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Property & Casualty Insurance industry experience preferred
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish)
