YouLend in London is seeking a Collections Executive fluent in German to manage our German portfolio and support UK operations. You will drive timely payments while maintaining strong relationships with merchants in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Experience in collections, account management or customer management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections and recoveries for the German portfolio and UK sector.
• Provide excellent service resolving non/under-paying merchants.
• Case manage high-value accounts in arrears across varied scenarios.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and craft professional letters and emails.
• Build positive merchant relationships to reach favorable outcomes for both YouLend and merchants.
• Negotiate and implement solutions considering merchant circumstances and business interests.
• Accurate data entry across multiple systems.

In this role, the candidate will be the primary point of contact for our German portfolio as well as servicing the UK sector. They will ensure timely payments whilst maintaining positive and professional relationships that YouLend is renowned for.

DescriptionYoulend is looking for a results orientated Collections Executive with native or near native German fluency to join our multi-geo Collections and Recoveries team. In this role, the candidate will be the primary point of contact for our German portfolio as well as servicing the UK sector. They will ensure timely payments whilst maintaining positive and professional relationships that YouLend is renowned for.

Key Responsibilities

• Collections and recoveries understanding (customer contact strategy awareness/account management experience)
• Provide first-class service relating to the resolution of any non/under-paying merchant
• Case management of high value accounts in arrears across varying and unique circumstances
• Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and create ad hoc letter and email content with high levels of care, awareness and accuracy
• Build positive relationships with our merchants to validate their circumstances and resolve with a positive outcome for both YouLend and the merchant
• Negotiate, implement and execute positive solutions with merchants' circumstances in mind, while balancing the best interests of the business
• Data input - accurately inputting data across multiple systems
• Experience within the finance industry is advantageous
• YouLend is very team-oriented - being a team player is necessary
