Job summary

Funding Circle in London is seeking a Collections professional to support SME borrowers, assess financial situations and drive cash collection with a customer-first approach.

You’ll contribute to maintaining high service levels, meeting targets and collaborating with Investors and Borrowers. The role combines in-office and flexible work in a London hybrid setup with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a customer-facing role within Financial Services
• Proven track record of meeting targets, SLAs and KPIs
• Organised with strong attention to detail and multi-system use
• Empathise with borrowers and help solve their issues
• Motivated, deadline-driven and able to work under pressure
• Identify ways to use Generative AI to streamline tasks
• Confident using approved AI tools to enhance output

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to SME business owners, assess financial situations and propose solutions while building rapport.
• Manage accounts with focus on cash collection and reducing loan defaults.
• Maintain productivity and workload to meet service levels.
• Be flexible and ready to take on ad-hoc duties to meet changing needs of Borrowers, Investors and Business.
• Comply with FCA guidelines relevant to Borrowers, Colleagues and Investors.
