Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collections Driver for the Uxbridge Delivery Office (UB8 2GG). The role is permanent part-time (20 hours per week) with a 14:00–18:00 window across five days, Monday to Friday.

You will collect and deliver mail, check post-boxes, visit business customers, and sort mailbags to ensure on-time delivery. A UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, and uniform is provided for longer contracts.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to walk for long periods and work outdoors in all weather.
• Able to adapt to flexible shift patterns across 5 days (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

• Deliver items on your route and collect mail according to Royal Mail standards.
• Sort mail and ensure correct routing to processing centres.
• Engage with customers while delivering and maintain high service levels.
• Attend to collection duties including post office visits and successful handovers.
