Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal collections drivers in the Banbury area. You will collect mail and parcels in the community, sometimes on foot and other times by vehicle, contributing to timely and secure deliveries.

The role emphasizes a dynamic, outdoor-active workday with varied shifts and a strong community-focused mindset. Full, manual driving licences with up to six points are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• As a Collections Driver, you’ll be the friendly face of Royal Mail in your local area. You’ll collect mail and parcels from designated locations, ensuring timely and secure handling of all items.
• Whether on foot or behind the wheel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the country connected.
• While some roles involve driving, this role also requires you to be on foot, collecting letters and parcels directly within the community.
