Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a Collection and Network Driver for the Basingstoke area. This permanent, part-time role is 20 hours per week, with shifts Tue–Sat from 14:15 to 18:15. You will join a team of drivers delivering and collecting mail, ensuring timely routing and customer service at every doorstep.

Responsibilities include sorting mailbags, visiting post offices, and handling election materials as required. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is needed.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
