Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Hatfield is recruiting a Delivery Driver on a permanent basis. You will sort parcels, plan routes, perform vehicle checks and deliver to homes and businesses across the area, while providing a reliable, friendly service.

Hours are 38 per week with overtime opportunities; usual shift 07:30-15:36 Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime possible. Competitive benefits include a pension, holiday allowance, medical cover, and access to My Bundle+ offers.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good customer service skills and a friendly, dependable approach.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
