Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting a part‑time Parcel Delivery Driver based at Newcastle under Lyme. You will sort parcels, plan routes and deliver to homes and businesses with a friendly, dependable service.

Starting salary £25,201 per year, rising to £27,561 after six months, with potential to earn up to £30,000 including overtime and weekend premiums; excellent pension, paid holiday, medical cover and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels to homes and businesses.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 24 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. There are 2 options for shift pattern.

Shift Pattern

• Thursday to Saturday, 07:00 - 15:00
• Saturday to Monday (Saturday 06:00-14:00, Sunday 06:00-12:00, Monday 07:00-17:00)

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
