Horsham District Council seeks a Collections Assistant to contribute to the museum's rationalisation project. Horsham District Council is looking for a Collections Assistant to join our small team of staff and volunteers working at the museum. You will be a key contributor to the museum’s rationalisation project to update and document all artefacts in our collection and storage.
As Collections Assistant, you will work with our varied collection, from books and manuscripts to historic artefacts, ensuring that all records and documentation are up to date and accurate. You will also ensure that items are stored safely to preserve the collection for future generations.
To succeed as Collections Assistant, you should be passionate about museums, detail-oriented, and have a can-do attitude. You should be enthusiastic about the heritage sector and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
