Job description

Our client has a new and exciting opportunity within their Capital Recovery department for a Collections Administrator.

The Role Will Include The Following Daily Duties

  • Handling inbound & outbound customer calls
  • Processing payments
  • Agreeing affordable payment arrangements with customers
  • Responding to correspondence, letters and emails
  • Various admin tasks such as updating system
  • Always ensuring the fair treatment of customers
  • Ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation
  • Ensure personal compliance with the applicable Conduct rules
  • Fully comply with all company processes and procedures
  • In carrying out the main accountabilities of the role ensure that all regulatory and statutory standards are met
  • Liaise with and support the Team Managers and Senior Managers.
  • Ensure Complaints are managed in accordance with the process and requirements, where applicable

The Candidate

  • Prior experience within a clerical role with accurate data input skills required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and professional communication skills, particularly when dealing with telephone enquiries, sympathetic approach to vulnerable persons
  • Strong IT proficiency; confident using Microsoft Office

Please note this is a permanent, office-based role, the working hours are 8.30am - 5pm Monday-Friday (with a 1hour unpaid lunchbreak), due to the location own transport is essential.
