Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver in Oldham. The role involves delivering letters and parcels on a set route, collecting mail, and visiting post offices as needed. You will also handle mailbags and ensure timely delivery while working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The position offers a 20-hour week with shifts across Monday to Saturday, a guaranteed hourly rate, and a range of benefits. An active UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required.

Hours: 20 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Sat, working between 14:00 and 19:00

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
