Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver for the Delivery Office in LS10 1AZ. This fixed-term role is 20 hours per week, with shifts across Monday to Sunday between 11:00 and 19:00. You will collect, sort and deliver mail, visiting post offices and business customers as part of a dedicated team.

Applicants should be upbeat, self-motivated and able to walk long distances in all weather. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, with a competitive hourly

• Deliver and collect mail on your route, including election materials or certain restricted items in line with Royal Mail standards.

• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach the right place at the right time.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
