Royal Mail Group is seeking a Collection and Network Driver in Blackburn. The role involves delivering and collecting mail along a fixed route, sorting bags, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries across the Blackburn area.

You will be part of a team delivering everyday postal needs with a focus on service and safety. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points), fitness to walk for long periods, and a willingness to work flexible shifts across 14:00–18:30, 5 days

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Willing to walk long periods and work outside in all weather.
• Strong team spirit and good customer service orientation.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and collect mail on a fixed route to customers across Blackburn area.
• Sort mailbags and ensure correct delivery to the right locations, in a timely manner.
• Assist with outbound loading/unloading and support post-office visits as required.

Hours: 22.30 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Sun, working between 14:00 and 18:30

Please note:

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
