Job summary

Dx is recruiting for a Collection and Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end collections and deliveries, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations across the network. You will oversee PAYE drivers and subcontractors, managing partners and performance, while guiding the Service Centre and any satellite sites.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong budget awareness, and the ability to resolve issues in a fast-paced mail/distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Proven record of delivering great service to Customers and managing ongoing Customer relationships.
• Experience of managing a diverse workforce including sub-contractors, self-employed drivers and PAYE drivers.
• Experience of managing direct cost budget.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Access, PowerPoint or similar data base.
• Always maintain a calm and rational presence, even when in pressured situations.
• Ability to identify problems and design deployable solutions.

Role summary

The role of the Collection and Delivery Manager is to lead and manage the collections and deliveries in an efficient manner that ensures we deliver Great service to our Customers every time. The Collection and Delivery Manager is also responsible for the effective management of all service delivery partners and PAYE drivers ensuring high quality performance is delivered. Key to this the Collection and Delivery Manager is to manage the Service Centre and its satellites (if applicable) in the day to day collection and delivery network.

Essential Criteria

• Proven record of delivering great service to Customers and managing on-going Customer relationships.


• Experience of managing a diverse workforce including sub- contractors, self- employed drivers and PAYE drivers.


• Experience of managing direct cost budget.


• Ability to use Microsoft XP (Excel, Word, Email, Access, PowerPoint) or similar data base.


• Always maintain a calm and rational presence, even when in pressured situations.


• Ability to identify problems and design deployable solutions.

Essential criteria for this role

• Previous experience in the mail or distribution industry
