Role Overview:

As a Collection and Delivery Driver for DPD, you'll be the face of our company, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient parcel collection and delivery. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service during parcel collection and delivery
• Starting shifts at the depot, loading parcels onto your 3.5 tonne van
• Following delivery schedules and managing routes effectively
• Operating and maintaining the van safely, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
• Scanning and recording parcel information with handheld devices
• Collecting signatures and proof of delivery from customers
• Reporting issues or concerns promptly
• Maintaining the vehicle and conducting daily checks
• Adapting to weather conditions and adjusting delivery approaches
• Collaborating with depot staff and other drivers
• Wearing uniform and PPE at all times
• Demonstrating DPD core values: Honesty, Respect, Passion, Flexibility, Caring, and Accountability

This role demands a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to uphold DPD's reputation.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have:

• A full UK driving licence with at least 12 months of regular driving experience
