Responsibilities of the Colleague Restaurant Team Leader:

• Maintain cleanliness of the Colleague Restaurant, floors, work surfaces, and all operational kitchen equipment
• Operate dishwashing, decarbonizer, and compactor machines safely according to manufacturer instructions
• Manage waste disposal following the 'clear as you go' method
• Assist with equipment stock takes, ordering, and administrative tasks
• Conduct checks on areas and equipment to determine cleaning and mise en place needs
• Ensure cleanliness standards and proper maintenance of cleaning equipment
• Assist with administrative duties, including rotas, health inspection records, and store control
• Supervise departmental colleagues, ensuring standards and service methods are maintained
• Treat colleagues fairly and in accordance with employment terms, legislation, and policies
• Ensure punctuality and grooming standards are met
• Conduct or contribute to pre-shift briefings and communication meetings
• Utilize communication channels like notice boards, log books, and social media
• Encourage creativity and recognize colleagues' contributions
