Job summary

G MASS Consulting is partnering with a leading Tier 1 Investment Bank on a significant collateral management re-platforming programme. The role provides hands-on Business Analysis and SME support to translate business requirements into functional design.

You will lead requirements gathering, gap analysis and testing for collateral workflows, with close collaboration to Technology, Operations and Compliance. A 6‑month contract with September start and potential extension is anticipated.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' collateral management experience at a Tier 1 bank.
• Proven business analysis skills with written requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Deep knowledge of collateral workflows including margin calls and dispute handling.
• Hands-on experience with engineering teams on platform implementations.
• Strong data lineage, reconciliations and control design.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear IT specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering for collateral workflows across the re-platforming programme.
• Conduct gap analysis between new platform and current processes.
• Define expected collateral processing logic and validate outputs.
• Support design reviews and contribute to future collateral architecture.
• Develop test scenarios for collateral workflows and margin calls.
• Interpret regulatory obligations and translate into data model changes.
• Provide milestone-driven delivery plans for senior reporting.
• Support BAU collateral queries as needed.
• Produce documentation covering control ownership and readiness.
