Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd is recruiting a Dayshift Coldstore Receipt Clerk at the Newmarket Depot. The role involves coordinating vehicle bays, liaising with stock office and yard staff, and processing stock receipts using the in-house WMS system.

Full-time, permanent with 7 ON 7 OFF shifts from 06:00 to 18:00. You will gain exposure to warehouse procedures and gain skills in stock control, receiving, and yard operations, with a competitive salary and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with stock control and receiving processes.
• Ability to use a computer and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the allocating of 3rd party and Turner’s vehicles to bays for tipping.
• Communications and liaison with Stock office, Yard shunter and all departments.
• Tipping and receipting of stock from trailers and monitoring yard trailer activity using in-house systems.

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Dayshift Coldstore Receipt Clerk. With the full support of our friendly Coldstore Office, you can expect to gain a good understanding of the warehouse supply chain procedures and improve your skills within the department and company.

• Location: Newmarket Depot
• Salary: £30,838.08 per annum + Overtime (all breaks paid)
• Shift Pattern: 7 ON 7 OFF, 06:00 – 18:00
• Position: Full-time, Permanent

Your duties will include:

• Overseeing the allocating of 3rd party and Turner’s vehicles to bays for tipping.
• Communications and leasing with Stock office, Yard shunter (trailer movement on and off bays) and all departmental areas.
• Tipping and receipting of stock from trailers and monitoring yard trailer activity using in house systems.
• Checking stock for any non-conforming issues and raising ISN’s (Inbound standard notifications).
• Use of WMS (Warehouse Management System,) full training will be provided.
• Other clerical duties within operational areas, and support to shift supervisor.
