Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd in Newmarket is seeking a Dayshift Coldstore Receipt Clerk to join the depot team. You will handle receipting of stock, allocate trailers to bays, and liaise with stock office and yard teams using the in-house WMS.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day, with all breaks paid. The company offers a pension, free on-site parking, overtime opportunities and potential for overtime-driven bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse reception/clerical duties preferred.
• Duties include checking stock and coordinating with yard and stock office.
• Basic IT skills required to use in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing allocation of third-party and Turner’s vehicles to bays for tipping.
• Tipping and receipting stock from trailers and monitoring yard activity using in-house systems.
• Check stock for non-conforming issues and raise ISNs (Inbound standard notifications).
• Use of WMS; full training will be provided.
• Support to shift supervisor and other clerical duties within operations.

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Dayshift Coldstore Receipt Clerk.Department based at our Newmarket depot.With the full support of our friendly Coldstore Office, you can expect to gain a good understanding of the warehouse supply chain procedures and improve your skills within the department and company.Salary: £31,636.80 per annum + Overtime. All breaks paid.Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 9 hours per day.Your duties will include:• Overseeing the allocating of 3rd party and Turner’s vehicles to bays for tipping.• Communications and leasing with Stock office, Yard shunter (trailer movement on and off bays) and all departmental areas.• Tipping and receipting of stock from trailers and monitoring yard trailer activity using in house systems.• Checking stock for any non-conforming issues and raising ISN’s (Inbound standard notifications).• Use of WMS (Warehouse Management System,) full training will be provided.• Other clerical duties within operational areas, and support to shift supervisor.You can expect to gain and improve your skills within department and company.
