Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods is seeking a Cold Stores Operative in Preston/Hull to support stores and production operations within a busy food production environment. You will help with stores tasks, scanning, labeling and assisting the production line, while upholding strict food safety standards.

The role offers full-time day shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota, with training provided and potential for permanent employment subject to the employer’s requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and hygiene requirements.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Working within the stores department to support daily operations.
• Stacking, sorting and handling boxes and trays safely and efficiently.
• Scanning products and applying labels accurately.
• Supporting production line operations when required.
• Following work instructions, company procedures and operational guidelines.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, food safety and quality control.
• Complying with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Working as a Stores Operative within a busy food production environment, supporting the smooth running of stores and production operations while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and health and safety.
