Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting Cold Store Operatives in Hull, East Yorkshire for our long-standing client Cranswick Country Foods. The role offers full-time, temporary to permanent employment in a busy food production environment with ongoing work and potential for permanency.

You will move products around the factory, perform manual handling, follow food safety and health & safety procedures, and work both independently and in a team in chilled conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous food production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Moving products around the factory using barrows and dolavs.
• Manual handling, lifting and general housekeeping.
• Following Food Safety, Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Working in chilled conditions.
