Job summary

Albert Bartlett in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Stores Operative to unload deliveries, complete stock checks, store materials correctly and support production with timely stock.

You will operate mechanical handling equipment after training, maintain cleanliness, and help with changeovers while ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards. Benefits include pension, annual leave, life assurance, wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Basic IT Skills.
• Desirable: Experience within an FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries as required and receipt in all materials to ensure they are correctly accounted for.
• Complete stock checks on a regular basis and investigate any discrepancies.
• Ensure stock is correctly stored and issued to minimise any waste.
• Complete outloads as appropriate and support the Coldstore as and when required.
• Efficiently operate mechanical handling equipment to the required standards following training
• Support achievement of the required product throughput to meet production plans
• Assist with providing materials for product changeovers to the required standards and timescales.
• Maintain all stores in a clean and hygienic manner, including any ice or snow in the cold store
• Accurate completion of all documentation required for out loads to ensure product is traceable and quality standards have been maintained.
• Take part if required in Daily reviews at performance boards and ownership of efficiency issues.
• Identification of sub-standard stock is always maintained.
• Ensure that all required stock is available for the production team at the correct quantity at the correct time.
• Ensure Stores hygiene standards are always met and maintained. Mechanical handling equipment qualifications (FLT, ride on barrows, pedestrian pallet trucks)
