Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer to service and maintain CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and fire systems across Colchester and the surrounding Essex region. You will ensure systems remain operational, compliant and secure for commercial clients.

The role requires independent work, travel across Colchester and nearby areas, and a dedication to delivering high-quality service with excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms.
Experience with these systems in a commercial environment.
Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems across commercial properties.
Provide high-quality service to clients ensuring safety, security and compliance.
Troubleshooting and repairing systems to minimise disruption.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
Complete service reports and system documentation.
Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts.
