Join our multidisciplinary team as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to deliver evidence-based treatments for individuals with mild to moderate psychological disorders. This role involves providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other psychological therapies, working closely with the Living Well programme and unpaid carer services across Argyll and Bute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group interventions.
- Manage a specialist caseload autonomously.
- Collaborate with the Living Well team and services for unpaid carers in Argyll & Bute
- Support training and management of clients and carers through motivational interviewing, behaviour change, acceptance therapy, and other psychological therapies.
- Enhance wellbeing and resilience amongst staff members and clients.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified to at least Diploma level in Cognitive behaviour therapy and accredited with or working towards accreditation with the BABCP.
- Relevant masters degree (post holder can be from different professional backgrounds – nursing, psychology, Occupational therapy, Social work)
- Extensive working experience in the field of Mental health and specialist population and relevant clinical experience
- Proven experience in delivering CBT and other psychological therapies.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
