Job summary

Chubb External in London is seeking an experienced Actuarial Insights and Projects Lead to head actuarial reporting, pricing projects, and data quality improvements within the COG Pricing team.

You will translate large datasets into clear business guidance, manage the team (COG MI Manager and an Actuarial Analyst), and drive pricing modernisation across pricing, modelling, reporting, and analytics for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries or equivalent.
• 5+ years pricing experience in P&C insurance.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience delivering complex projects and working with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of clear, insightful actuarial reporting for senior stakeholders.

COG Actuarial Insights and Projects Lead

Role Purpose

This role leads actuarial insights, reporting, and pricing projects within the COG Pricing team. It is responsible for turning data into clear business insight, improving reporting and data quality, and supporting the modernisation of pricing tools and processes.

The role reports to the Head of Pricing for Property and Casualty and has direct line management responsibility for the COG MI Manager and an Actuarial Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of clear, insightful actuarial reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support decision-making.
• Improve existing reporting processes, controls, and data quality.
• Drive actuarial data initiatives across pricing, modelling, reporting, and analytics.

• Strong analytical skills, with experience using large datasets.
• Experience with SQL or Python is desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a global or multi-regional environment is desirable.
