Job summary

Chubb Ltd. seeks a COG Actuarial Insights and Projects Lead to drive actuarial reporting, pricing analytics, and data quality across the pricing team. You will mentor the MI Manager and an Actuarial Analyst and partner with cross-functional teams to modernise tools and processes.

The role requires senior actuarial experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex projects with stakeholders at multiple levels. This is a UK-based, on-site leadership position.

Qualifications

• Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries or equivalent.
• Knowledge of property, casualty, cyber, financial lines, and marine insurance products.
• At least 5 years’ pricing experience in P&C insurance.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience delivering complex projects and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using large datasets.
• Experience with SQL or Python is desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a global or multi-regional environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of clear, insightful actuarial reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support decision-making.
• Improve existing reporting processes, controls, and data quality.
• Drive actuarial data initiatives across pricing, modelling, reporting, and analytics.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and data platforms to improve efficiency and insight.
• Lead pricing modernisation projects and promote best practice across the team.
• Partner with analytics, planning, reserving, CAT modelling, and underwriting teams.
• Manage and develop the COG MI Manager and Actuarial Analyst.
• Support the development of junior actuaries and encourage knowledge sharing across the team.
