Job summary

Straight-Line Group Services Ltd. is recruiting for a Coded Pipe Welder/Fabricator in Dudley. The role involves welding and fabricating pipework to X-ray standard on day shifts. The position offers both temp and perm options and a competitive hourly rate of £25.00.

You will work from drawings and welding procedures, handling various materials and wall thicknesses while meeting tight deadlines and quality expectations. This client focuses on safe, high-quality engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Current welding qualifications and coding.
• Experience producing welds to X-ray standard.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabricating pipework and associated components.
• Working from engineering drawings, weld procedures and specifications.
• Producing high-quality welds to X-ray/radiographic inspection standard.
• Working with a range of pipe materials and wall thicknesses.
• Carrying out fabrication, fitting, preparation and welding duties.
• Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.
