Job summary

Engel in the City of London is seeking a confident Cocktail Waitress to join the team at Engel, our stylish bar and events space on the Royal Exchange mezzanine. You will deliver polished service, welcome guests and guide their experiences with cocktails, spirits and food pairings.

The role offers a dynamic frontline environment on a Monday–Saturday schedule with Sundays off, based at the Royal Exchange in central London, with opportunities to grow within a growing hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cocktail Waitress or in a Front of House role in a quality bar/restaurant.
• Genuine interest in cocktails, mixology and spirits.
• Warm, confident and engaging personality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with guests.
• Positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stay organized during busy services.
• Team-focused and willing to support colleagues.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

£16.27 per hour | Monday–Saturday | City of London

We’re looking for a confident, engaging and passionate Cocktail Waitress to join the team at Engel, our stylish bar and events space located on the Mezzanine of the iconic Royal Exchange in the heart of the City of London.

Engel is all about great drinks, warm hospitality and memorable experiences – and we’re looking for someone who can bring personality, energy and genuine enthusiasm to every service.

As a Cocktail Waitress, you’ll be a key part of our Front of House team, looking after guests from the moment they arrive and delivering friendly, polished and attentive service throughout their experience.

What you’ll be doing

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and understands that exceptional service is about much more than simply taking an order.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Cocktail Waitress, Waitress or in a similar Front of House role within a quality bar, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• A genuine interest in cocktails, mixology and spirits.
• A warm, confident and engaging personality.
• Excellent communication skills.A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver personalised service.
• A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong attention to detail.

Cocktail and spirits knowledge is a great advantage, but just as important is your enthusiasm to learn and develop.

• Monday to Saturday operation
