Job summary

ROSE & YOUNG RECRUITMENT LTD seeks a motivated Coating Technician in Blaby to support production by applying coating knowledge and maintaining quality standards. You will ensure products meet customer specifications while supporting continuous improvement and new product development.

The role requires attention to detail, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work to tight tolerances in a team-driven environment with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate coating processes across at least two plants within the department.
• Complete production documentation, route cards, and process records accurately.
• Use measuring equipment to assess coating performance and product compliance.
• Monitor coating processes and identify issues, taking corrective action.
• Identify coating defects and understand causes and prevention.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and coating requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with safety procedures.
• Support training and development within the coating department.
