Job summary

Bilfinger are recruiting a Coating Inspector for the PUMA project at Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull. You will perform coating inspections on piping and structures, ensure compliance with quality control plans, British standards and client specifications, and manage quality records.

Based on-site at the PUMA project offices, you will witness coating process qualifications, monitor environmental conditions, and perform thickness checks on wet and dry films to ensure defect-free surfaces.

• Perform overall visual inspections ensuring surface is defect free.

Mitsubishi Chemicals UK are to build a new production plant adjacent to their existing plant on Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull, named the PUMA project.

The coating Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of piping and structures painted on the PUMA construction project. The inspector will perform regular inspections, assessments, and tests on coating systems to ensure they meet industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You will be site based in the PUMA project offices.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale construction project, ensuring the quality and safety of all piping systems.

As a Coating Inspector, your activities will include the following:
