Placements24 is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer for our East London client, a respected coastal development firm. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote work in a hybrid setup, and you will design and oversee structures for residential, commercial, and marine projects along the coast.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering, is registered (Pr Eng or Pr Eng Tech), and has about 6 years of coastal/marine experience.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Structural/Civil Eng.
• Pr Eng or Pr Eng Tech registration with ECSA.
• 6 years of coastal/marine structural experience.
• Experience in designing concrete, steel and masonry structures.

Responsabilités

• Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure in line with codes.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations and specifications for tender and construction.
• Perform site inspections and structural assessments to monitor progress and quality.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other consultants to coordinate structural elements.
