Job summary

The Coach Travel Group is seeking a full-time Coach Driver to operate airport scheduled services from Stansted into London. You will safely drive coaches, follow timetables, perform pre-journey checks, and report defects.

You will assist passengers, handle luggage, maintain a clean vehicle, and complete journey records while complying with safety and company policies. Flexible hours include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid PCV licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Proven experience driving large vehicles or coaches.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow schedules and work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Good understanding of road safety and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive coaches on assigned airport routes and timetables.

Job description

This is a full-time coach driving role operating airport scheduled services from Stansted into London.

Daily responsibilities include safely driving coaches, following assigned timetables and routes, performing basic vehicle checks, and reporting any defects or incidents promptly. The role involves assisting passengers with boarding and alighting, handling luggage, providing clear and courteous information, and maintaining a clean and welcoming vehicle environment. The Coach Driver will also complete necessary journey records and comply with all legal, safety, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence and Driver CPC qualification, with a strong focus on safe, compliant driving.
• Proven experience driving large vehicles or coaches, with confident route planning and navigation skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and courteous approach to passengers.
• Ability to follow schedules, work flexible hours (including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays)
• Good understanding of road safety, relevant traffic regulations, and company operating procedures.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a wider operational team.
• Basic vehicle care skills, including conducting pre-journey checks and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Right to work in the UK; previous experience in passenger transport or coach travel is an advantage.
