Lincolnshire County Council is establishing a new Strategic Commissioning Service within the Adult Care Directorate and seeks two Co-production Officers. You will co-coordinate co-production and engagement activity to embed lived experience voices in strategic commissioning, service design and improvement.

Job description

We are establishing a new Strategic Commissioning Service, within our Adult Care Directorate and are ambitious about our plans to invest in and advance our approach to innovative, evidence based commissioning, driving the delivery of positive outcomes for the people of Lincolnshire, in a compliant and efficient way.

To help us achieve this, we are seeking two outstanding officers who can co-coordinate the effective delivery of co-production and engagement activity, to ensure the voices of people with lived experience are embedded within strategic commissioning processes, service design and improvement.

Operating across the adult care directorate, the wider council and the strategic partnership base, our Co-production Officers will ensure that insight is gathered and shared, engagement is facilitated and that commissioned services are designed in a way that is person centred and outcomes focused.

You will be:

• A professional in a relevant discipline, such as communication, social policy or commissioning with experience in facilitating and delivering co-production and inclusive engagement activity across Adult Care, health or public services.
• Someone with experience of influencing commissioning decisions, service design or transformation, as well as a knowledge and understanding of applying the principles of co-production and strength based approaches in practice.
• An officer with knowledge and understanding of the full commissioning cycle, integrated care systems, strategic partnerships across Adult Care and the CQC regulatory assurance framework and governance requirements.

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary.
