We're seeking a Co-Founder with deep PROTAC/targeted protein degradation expertise to lead our medicinal chemistry platform and integrate protein degradation into our established multi-omic AI infrastructure. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the first truly integrated precision protein degradation company.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

• Co-define company vision integrating computational insight with PROTAC development

• Lead medicinal chemistry platform development on a multi-omic infrastructure foundation

• Optimise pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of PROTACs

• Represent company scientific vision to investors, partners, and scientific community

Program Development

• Lead PROTAC discovery campaigns for AI-identified novel targets

• Execute structure-based drug design for transcription factors and kinases

• Build academic and industry collaborations for specialised chemistry expertise

• Create IP strategy around integrated AI-guided PROTAC development

Team Building & Culture

• Recruit medicinal chemistry team aligned with platform approach

• Establish scientific advisory board spanning AI, multi-omics, and protein degradation

• Foster collaborative culture bridging computational and experimental sciences

• Drive scientific excellence across interdisciplinary platform

What You Bring

• PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or related field

• 5+ years direct PROTAC development experience (industry or advanced academic)

• Expert knowledge of ubiquitin–proteasome system (UPS) and protein degradation mechanisms

• Experience in modular PROTAC assembly including linker design and E3 ligase selection

• Track record of advancing molecules from hit to lead to candidate

• Strong understanding of structure-based drug design and ternary complex formation

• Experience integrating computational approaches with experimental chemistry

• Knowledge of biomarker development and precision medicine

Preferred Qualifications

• Structure-based optimisation of PROTACs utilising computational methods like AlphaFold

• Target protein structure prediction and binding site identification

• Linker design and optimisation for ternary complex formation

• Structure-guided optimisation of target and E3 ligase binding domains

• Analysis of predicted ternary complex for improved PROTAC performance

• Background in multi-omic data integration or systems biology

• Industry experience in biotech/pharma with platform-based discovery

• Track record of team leadership in interdisciplinary environments
