Job Description

Are you an accomplished Rights professional with a proven track record in co-edition sales within Trade publishing? An award-winning independent publisher is expanding their Rights team and is on the lookout for a driven Co-Editions Manager to maximise co-edition sales on an international scale, especially with their children's list. This is a part-time role working 3 or 4 days a week and offering flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements.

Reporting directly to the Head of Co-Editions, your key responsibilities will include:

·Driving international co-edition sales, achieving agreed revenue targets

·Shaping sales strategies by identifying new customers, while nurturing relationships with existing clients

·Researching new markets and business opportunities

·Maintaining regular contact with customers via email and telephone

·Travelling to meet clients face-to-face and attending major international book fairs

The ideal candidate will possess:

·Strong customer relationship skills and an understanding of local issues within international book publishing markets

·A detailed understanding of book industry terminology, bookselling, and the rights sales process

·Working knowledge of book publishing; knowledge of the childrens market would be highly desirable
