Job summary

Gordon’s School invites applications for a Co-Curricular Assistant to help deliver and develop our extensive Co-Curricular programme. You will support activities, productions, marketing materials and events, with administrative support for LAMDA and public speaking initiatives.

The role offers 40 hours per week during term time, contributing to a vibrant arts and education-focused environment within a leading boarding school in Surrey.

Qualifications

• A degree in Fine Art, Creative Arts or a related discipline.
• Excellent creative, artistic and organisational skills.
• Strong administrative and project management abilities.
• The ability to engage, motivate and inspire young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong digital literacy and social media skills.
• The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of Co-Curricular activities, including organising and delivering co-curricular sessions.
• Assisting with the design, construction and management of sets, props and staging for school productions and performances.
• Providing backstage and practical support for rehearsals, performances and creative events.
• Designing and producing a range of promotional materials, including posters, programmes, booklets and social media content.
• Promoting and celebrating student achievements and Co-Curricular opportunities through creative marketing and communications.
• Supporting the administration of LAMDA lessons, examinations, scholarships and public speaking activities.
• Assisting with the planning, organisation and delivery of events across the School’s Creative Arts, Sport, Leadership, Academic Enrichment, Outdoor Education and Voluntary programmes.
