Job summary

Gordon’s School in Surrey is seeking a reliable Domestic & Site Services Assistant to join the Domestic Services team. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across boarding houses, communal areas, and external spaces, with duties including cleaning corridors, bathrooms, and other internal areas throughout the day.

The role runs 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (not term-time only).

About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Domestic Services Department at Gordon’s School, one of the most successful boarding schools in England.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Domestic & Site Services Assistant to become part of our vibrant, supportive, and hardworking Domestic Services team. This role plays an essential part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that Gordon’s School is known for.

As a valued member of our team, you will help ensure that Residential Boarding Houses, communal areas and the wider school environment—including some outdoor cleaning duties—are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. Duties will include the daily cleaning of corridors, communal spaces, bathrooms, lavatories, and any other internal or external areas that require attention throughout the day.
