Job summary

Carbase Preparation Centre is seeking a Cosmetic Alloy Wheel Technician to repair, refurbish and finish alloy wheels through the full refurbishment process, including CNC machine-cut refurbishment and tyre handling.

The role requires operating CNC machinery, balancing wheels and ensuring final quality meets Carbase standards while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £36,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience as Alloy Wheel Technician or CNC Wheel Technician.
• Experience with CNC refurbishing machinery.
• Proven track record in painted and CNC machine-cut refurbishment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality finish.
• Ability to assess repair viability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect alloy wheels and determine repair method.
• Repair kerbing, scratches, corrosion and other wheel damage.
• Prepare wheels for refinishing with sanding and prep.
• Operate CNC wheel-cutting equipment safely.
• Balance wheels after tyre refitting.
• Maintain CNC equipment and related tools.
• Follow health & safety procedures.
