Job summary

Command in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheel Technician or CNC Lathe Operator to operate the latest CNC diamond-cut lathes in a state-of-the-art vehicle preparation centre.

You will restore premium alloy wheels to manufacturer standards with a focus on machine operation and quality, in a weekday shift pattern, with a 10% bonus and progression opportunities within a modern workshop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC lathes within alloy wheel refurbishment.
• Proven experience producing diamond-cut alloy wheel finishes.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC diamond-cut lathes to refurbish alloy wheels to manufacturer standards.
• Produce high-quality, precise diamond-cut finishes.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure workmanship.
• Follow company processes and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organised workspace.
• Support and mentor junior team members where required.

The Role

As a Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheel Technician, you'll be responsible for restoring alloy wheels to manufacturer standards using specialist CNC diamond-cut lathes.

This role focuses purely on machine operation and quality—you won't be stripping or preparing wheels, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC diamond-cut lathes to refurbish alloy wheels to manufacturer standards
• Produce high-quality, precision diamond-cut finishes
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure exceptional workmanship
• Follow company processes and health & safety procedures
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organised workspace
• Support and mentor junior team members where required
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the department
